Army recruiters using technology to increase interest in students

U.S. Army Sgt. First Class Gonzalez and Sgt. First Class Zollinger travel to different high schools and colleges throughout the Wabash Valley to help educate students about the Army. On Wednesday, they stopped at Sullivan High School in Sullivan, Indiana. Zollinger says the interest in the military is there, but it’s often overlooked. To help bring interest in, the Army is incorporating technology and interactive displays such as a STEM van. Inside, students were given a briefing and were later placed behind the screen to operate a multi-use unmanned vehicle, also known as “SARAH.” Read more
