Comparing Teacher Effectiveness in High- and Low-Poverty Schools

Stephen Sawchuk, Education Week’s Teacher Beat - 12/09/2010 - According to a new study from the National Center for Analysis of Longitudinal Data in Education Research (CALDER), teachers in high-poverty schools in Florida and North Carolina are on average only slightly less effective than those in low-poverty schools.
